Come in to Book Culture on Thursday, February 27th at 7pm for a discussion with Amy Hollywood, Sara Poor and Patricia Dailey on her book, Promised Bodies: Time, Language, & Corporeality in Medieval Women’s Mystical Texts.

Patricia Dailey is an Associate Professor of English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University. She specializes in medieval literature and culture (English, Dutch, French, and Italian) and critical theory, focusing on women’s mystical texts, visions, Anglo-Saxon poetry and prose, medieval rhetoric, hermeneutics, and theology. She is the founder of the Anglo-Saxon Studies Colloquium and co-founder of the Theory Reading Group.
