chinach.gifAs the final month of the year gets underway, we are excited about a number of events happening in the store within the first two weeks of December. Highlights include a panel discussion with the authors of Challenging China and a reading with the editors and some of the contributing writers for New York Calling. You can view the full schedule here.

hp_ootb_halberstam.jpgBook Culture will also be screening two films this month. On Dec. 10 we will participate in Powell’s second Out of the Book series, a documentary about David Halberstam’s The Coldest Winter. Later that week, on Dec. 13, we will host a special screening of Jonathan Slon’s film, Keeping Up With Jones.

All events begin at 7 pm and take place on the second floor of our store.
